Even Sherlock Holmes would envy the work methods of some Ukrainian police inspectors. Yes, one of our clients was tried to be brought to administrative responsibility for allegedly riding people across the Dnieper on a boat for a fee, without registering a business …. But lawyer Yevheniya Turova and lawyer Tetyana Glushkova defended her rights.
Analyzing the materials, they noticed that as proof of guilt, the inspectors provided only a gift certificate without any data that would indicate our client or her boat. In addition, the protocol did not specify the exact circumstances of the offense: neither the cost of the trip, nor the number of people transported, nor the duration of the trip.
These facts were stated during the court hearing. The judge agreed with these arguments, and ruled that our client’s actions did not constitute an administrative offense.
Congratulations on your victory!
